Claim Your Treasure: Clash of Clans Halloween Event 2023!

Clash of Clans just dropped their new Halloween Update which is named “Clash O Ween”. This is one of the best and biggest Halloween updates as compared to past Halloween updates. This Halloween event will last up to 1 November 2023. In the article, we will discuss this new update, like new troops, features, skins, and much more.

All About New COC New Halloween Update

#1. Sour Elixir & Sour Elixir Cauldron

During the event, the normal elixir is converted into Sour Elixir. This Sour Elixir cauldron has a storage capacity of 2400 and can produce up to 100 Sour Elixir per hour. The cauldron has very low production so you have to loot from opponent bases.

You can use this soul elixir to unlock event rewards by tapping on the sour elixir cauldron. An event will open where you can claim event rewards like new troops, mashup medals, and much more.

The Sour Elixir Cauldron will last till the event’s finish date and after that, it will turn into a tree that permanently lasts in the game as an Obstacle.

#2. 4 New Temporary Halloween Troops

In the update, there are 4 new troops added. These new troops are temporary in the game which will last till the event finish date. The troop level has been set according to the town hall level. Mainly there are two different troops combined into one troop, following are details below:

Barcher

This troop is a combination of Barbarian and Archer. For the first 5 seconds, this troop is invincible to defense and has the attack ability of an Archer. It has hit points 395 and total damage per second points of 69.

Hog Wizard

This is the combination of Wizard and Hog Rider. This troop has the abilities of Hog Rider and Wizard, he can throw a splash as a wizard and can climb walls like a hog rider. It has hitpoints of 1205 and has a total damage of 309.

Lavaloon

This is the combination of Balloon and Lava Hound. It throws a bomb like balloon and after the bomb explodes small pups spawn which fight and attack the defense. There are a total of 6 Pups spawned in one explosion. It has hitpoints of 5850 and total damage of 1100. Air defense is its favorite target.

Witch Golem

It’s a combination of Witch and Golem. It spawns a large number of small skeleton armies and after the army is destroyed it spawns Big Boy Skeleton. you can unlock the troop with 55000 Sour Elixir points in the event trade. It has hit points of 8800 and total damage points of 900 and defenses are its favorite targets.

New Ghost Queen and King Skin

In the event, you will get a new legendary Halloween King and Queen Ghost skin which you can unlock under the mashup madness event deal tab where you will need 4650 mashup medals to unlock the skin.

Mashup Medals

These are the new temporary medals that you can use to buy different event resources like Obstacles, New Ghost Queen Skin, Spells, and different types of books like Book of Spells, Book of Building, Book of Fighting, and Book of Heroes.

You can get these mashup medals by completing different levels of sour elixir cauldron. In the event you can get up to 5150 mashup medals by which you can easily unlock Ghost Queen Skin you can also buy these medals from the shop.

Balance Changes in New Temporary Halloween Event Troops

During the event, Supercell made some changes in the temporary troops’ hitpoints and damage per second. After this change some of the troops get nerfed and some of them get buffed, here are the detailed changes mentioned below

In the Lavaloon, the hit points get reduced as in the initial days of the event it had a total of 5850 points but now after the change, the hit points reduced to 5265.
In the Witch Golem, the damage per second point has been increased in the Big Boy, in the initial days it had the damage of 355 but now it has been increased to 426.
Bacher also gets buffed up, the damage per second has been increased from 69 to 76 points, which means now you can destroy gold mines with just one barcher.
Hog Wizard also gets buffed up, it is one of the best troop in all of the temporary but low hit points was the main weakness of these troops, now hit points have been increased a bit before it had 1205 hit points but now it’s increased to 1387 hit points.
