Things we know about EA New Black Panther Game

Black Panther Will be a Single Player AAA Title Game
As mentioned on EA’s official page, the new black panther game will be a single-player AAA title third-person game. The game is fully handled by Kevin Stephens, Head of Monolith Products. The game is early in development, so only a little information has been disclosed officially.

Black Panther may be an Open World Game.
EA’s new Game studio CliffHanger is in the Early development stage, hiring more talented people who can work on the project.
So recently, a lot of job posts have been shared on LinkedIn by Cliff Hanger, and in one of their Senior Engineer posts, they mentioned the Open World game experience requirement.
This may not confirm that the game is an Open World, but it gives us an idea that the Black Panther may be an Open World Game. Check out the link if you want to know more about the Job.

The game may be Developed on Unreal Engine 5
In one of their job listings, a position for Senior Software Engineer for Tools and Systems where they had mentioned they were seeking an engineer who had experience with Unreal Engine 5. You can read the whole posting by clicking on the link.

A Veteran Team Hired For the Project
As mentioned by Kevin Stephens who is the Head of Monolith Studios, According to him a highly experienced and talented team hired for the project and they had an experience in one of the massive hits Titles like God of War, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, Halo Infinite, Call of Duty, and other popular titles.
This statement at some point shows that EA is really serious about the project, so a Good, Time Worth Product may be seen by EA’s Cliffhanger.
Black Panther Releasing is Very Far Away.
Both Game and Game Studio are in early development. They had a Veteran team, but with this, they also hired more staff for the project. They had posted many recruitments for the Senior Engineer role on their official Linkedin Page. At some point, these things show that the game’s release is far away, like in 2025.

Fans Curious that Black Panther Game may not have T-challah
Many videos, tweets, and posts on the internet claim that the new Black Panther game may not have a T-Challa character. Recently a petition has also been getting signed against this at change.org.
They claim that Instead of T-Challa, we will play as a Black Panther’s custom character, which may be a male or female Black Panther. But till now, nothing has been officially disclosed by Cliffhanger.
Note: There’s nothing has been announced officially about this by Cliffhanger. We just cover this point to provide more information about the game.

New System may be seen, Inspired from The Nemesis System.
As mentioned above, the project is led by Kevin Stephens(Monolith Productions), and before this, he was leading Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor. This is one of the iconic games of monolith productions. The game had a unique system, Nemesis System, by which the game became so much popular.
A Nemesis System is a Villain Generator System first introduced in Lord of the Rings and later in Middle-earth.
With the System, you fight against bosses of different ranks & levels. Whenever an enemy kills you, the enemy gets new skills and promotions.
With this, he remembers that he killed you, so when you respawn and fight the same enemy, he speaks a dynamic dialogue like “I killed you before. How you come back”. These types of systems provide the gamer a more realistic and personal experience.
But unfortunately, the System patented by Warner Bros and Cliffhanger didn’t have any rights to use that System in their game. Here’s the catch, Cliffhanger hired Kevin Stephens, who already had past experience working in the nemesis system, so that may be possible that they build their own System inspired by the nemesis system. Microtransactions Scenario in Black Panther
EA had a long history of controversies in Microtransactions. After the official announcement of the game, some players were curious about microtransactions, as EA was always in the limelight because of their Microtransactions Controversies. According to a Forbes article, EA was voted one of the most hated companies in America twice.
Honestly, we don’t have any information about this. Still, if we look into EA’s statements, it seems that they are really serious about the project, so that may be possible that the game had microtransactions in a very controlled manner; again, nothing is officially announced; it is just our speculation as per their official statements.
